Vintage Irmi Nursery Set with Lamp and Mother Goose Mobile

Charming nursery set by Irmi. These handpainted wooden pieces are absolutely exquisite and will make a very cheerful addition to any nursery. The lamp is fully functional, with a main light and a secondary small bulb fixture at the rear for a night light setting. It comes with the original shade, with its blue gingham trim. There are a few yellowed spots inside the shade, consistent with the age of the piece. The lamp is shown with bulbs, so you can see the fixtures are functional, but the bulbs are not included - I try to avoid shipping glass. It is rare to find these lamps with all the hardware and fixtures intact. The lamp is about 15" high and the shade is about 11" across. The mobile is also entirely functional and comes with its original packaging. The main strut has a clamp. Old King Cole sits on the top with his pipe, holding a rod, and a wind up music box hangs from the hook. It turns as it plays, so the mobile hanging below moves with the music. It features an array of favorite Mother Goose characters, such as Little Bo Peep and Humpty Dumpty. I do not know the exact age of the piece, and I do not know if it is safe for children who might place the pieces in their mouth. The total height of the piece is about 20" and the mobile measures roughly 15" across.
