Offered here for your consideration is a rare period French Art Deco frosted globe or lampshade by Sabino for the French Market. With a grey to purple frosted patina and a geometric or prism design. The fitter neck bears a raised Sabino, Paris factory mark. This item dates to the early 20th
century.
It is is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with
some flakes to highpoints of the body, light concussion marks at the neck from a prior fitter body, some baked on rust and paint, small amounts fritting to the interior mouth, some light wear and losses to patina at edges, and other signs of expected light wear
consistent with age.

Fitter diameter exterior ca. 3 3/4 inches.
