    Description

    The artist Marius-Ernest Sabino (1878-1961) was an Italian-born Parisian.

    Sabino experimented with glass and by 1925 he had created his own chemical formula for opalescent glass.
    ★
    The result is that in low light the glass often appears white or bluish like ice in a glacier,
    but with brighter or more direct light, many of the pieces turn a subtle golden color. As if by magic.
