Robin Russell Ceramics handmade Little Bo-Peep mouse lamp with shade. The lamp is in very good working condition. The colors are vibrant with a crackle finish. The shade shows wear with staining on the inside and a couple of flaws on the outside. The lamp is 16” tall, the base is 9” wide. The bottom is lined with felt that is in good condition. The artist is still active and lives in Eugene, OR. Polarized plug. Per the artists website:
I make all of my pieces myself- I start with porcelain clay and hand form each piece using nothing but a knife and a bamboo skewer. I dry the pieces, paint with many coats of underglaze, bisque fire and paint again. I then cover the pieces in a lead free clear glaze and fire to 2100 degrees. Each piece is unique, absolutely no molds or other mass production techniques are used.
