Proto?? 1429 Long Pick Ball End 17" Auto Body Hammer Head USA!

You are bidding on a 1429 Long Pick Ball End 17" Auto Body Hammer Head USA! The previous owner told me this is a PROTO hammer. However, He painted the upper part of the hammer with blue paint so I can't say for sure it's a  Proto.  I did some research and Protos does/did make a model 1429 pick hammer that looks like this. The bottom half of the handle is green like a Proto handle. Overall length is 17". The length from the end of the pick to the end of the ball is roughly 9". No damage or cracks in the handle.
