Huronia Pottery Ltd was founded by Tom Hrcek, a Czech immigrant who had worked for Blue Mountain Pottery as a mold maker.  Known for their unusual Reflow Glaze (vertical vs horizontal flame glaze treatment), unique matte glazes reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts movement in the USA, & solid high glossy glazes. Pottery closed in the mid-1970s but was located 21 miles west of Collingwood in Meaford Ontario Canada.
