    Description

An interesting unused postal card from India with a pre-printing vertical paste-up splice. Brown Titaghur Paper with the imprint of an elephant was used to adjoin to ends of a paper roll prior to printing the 6 Naye Paise indicia in the design of the Capital of Asoka Pillar. See scans for condition - paper tape torn on reverse but intact and only folded back.
